DINNOCAP is an international digital collaboration project between industry associations, government agencies, and knowledge institutions in eight Baltic Sea Region (BSR) countries. DINNOCAP is co-financed by the EU Interreg BSR program and operates from January 2021 to December 2021.

The objective of DINNOCAP is to develop the digital economy in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR):

  • promote greater ICT adoption in industrial small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs);
  • foster cross-border interoperability through innovative public cross-border e-services;
  • support and sustain institutional capacity building in the public and private sectors.

DINNOCAP is a continuation of the DIGINNO project, which was a digital collaboration project in the BSR implemented in 2017-2020: https://www.diginnobsr.eu/. DINNOCAP will help implement innovative ICT tools, cross-border e-service solutions, and policy recommendations developed by DIGINNO, such as:

  1. ICT Business Needs Assessment for SMEs in the BSR
  2. Digital Maturity Recommendations Tool for SMEs
  3. Digital Assessment Toolkit for SMEs
  4. Four G2B Cross-Border E-Service Demonstration Models
  5. DIGINNO Policy White Paper

DINNOCAP, together with partner companies and industry associations from participating countries, will seek to implement these tools and solutions in practice. In collaboration with government institutions, the project will discuss how to support these changes at the policy level. The overall outcome of DINNOCAP will be a set of innovative digital transformation tools designed to enhance the capacity of SMEs, industry associations, and policymakers.
