International Science Week in Lithuania “(re)SEARCH 2026”
October 19 - October 23
From October 19–23, Lithuania will host the International Science Week (re)SEARCH 2026—the second series of scientific events of this scale in the country.
Rapidly advancing technologies, artificial intelligence, and geopolitical shifts are transforming research practices, international collaboration, and science policy. In this context, science diplomacy is becoming increasingly important, helping to strengthen the country’s research and innovation potential and develop strategic international partnerships.
As Lithuania prepares to assume the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2027, an opportunity arises to contribute more actively to shaping the European science agenda by highlighting national priorities and the strengths of Lithuanian science.
